Frustrated !!

The last 3-4 days have simply been frustrating and there seems to be no end to it .
Firstly I chose to stay back in the hostel after my exams so that I could manage to study something for the placements and CAT . I succeeded in doing that to a certain degree for the latter but for the placements I haven't even yet picked up the book and 15 days have passed. Frustrating isn't it ?( when you have your job at stake ) .Those CAT classes bite most of our time going in the morning hours around 10 am and coming back around 6 in the evening aor sometimes even late . Roaming around in the CL in dead heat for Lunch .And when we land back in hostel (what felt like a government duty ) don't feel like doing anything other then resting our tired bodies .Trying to recuperate them .In the hostel too you hardly have any human souls . Just 2 -3 are present in my wing and they too will be leaving today for the home today which leaves me as the lonely unlucky chap . I have got reservations for tomorrow .BUT It doesn't feel like a reality that I'll make it to home by the train tomorrow .

I was very happy 2-3 days back that the wait is finally getting over and I'll b back home after a long gap of 5 months .But this latest gujjar drama has put an end to my happiness .The Trains are getting canceled everyday . Its getting on my nerves . Most of the folks are already home and some are getting home very soon . With every bit of news that I read about the whole reservation drama the frustration just mounts up . But I read the news everytime having that little degree of hope that this whole agitation will end and the routes shall be cleared . Last Time also the same thing happened .I was fortunate enough to reach home amidst tensions . One time lucky doesn't mean all time lucky . All I can do is pray , pray and PRAY !!!

Sixth Sem Over .

Some notable things that happened this week ::

Gave a stream of 4 continuous papers this sem due the order of my electives . Only one other guy had the same order as mine .Needles to say that I got 7 holidays after my first paper but I dint study a single penny till examination eve . Enjoyed a hell lot in those "saat din " .

For the first time in my 3 years in IIIT , I was awake till 5 am or late in the morning during exams time just trying to get my course finished and on 2 of those 3 days I never felt like sleeping at that time even . Till date I used to sleep around 2-3 am in exams .

I got kicked out of the examination room as I was showing an answer to my buddy But that was only I completed my paper .

With this ,the sixth sem papers are finally over with the project demo still remaining .
All I can say right now is that "the war is finally over and I am the lost warrior . "

Tashan!!

Saw the movie Tashan just after the DSP exam . And seriously I can't explain in words how the movie was But if asked then I would put it up like this "Isse raddi movie nahi bana sakta koi " !!
How do you expect the Big Banner Chopra's to make such a pathetic movie . The animations in the beginning were as childish as they could ever be . The storyline was pretty much ok but how the things were portrayed in screen seems to be disgusting .
The only good thing about the movie was Kareena looking damn sexy throughout and apart from that a Bits and pieces of Akshay kumar was also good . Saif and Anil don't even need to be mentioned . In order to show the Tashan of the stars the makers made a complete mockery of the movie and I was left with nothing to do but scratch my head on what I had seen . AK fighting against a 40 men fully equipped force and jumping and leaping in front of them and doing all kinda stunts and moving like a monkey between those firing bullets seems quite unimaginable but The Chopra's think otherwise .
All in all a complete waste of time and money (if you are going to see in some plex ) .You might be thinking if the plot is so faltoo then why did I watch the whole of it . The reason being I had nothing to do at that time and The light wasn't coming in the hostel (rarely it does happen like this ) and so LAN wasn't working and thanks to utter bad luck one of my friends had this movie on his laptop and so it began !!!

DSP Blues !!

End sems have started yet again . And yesterday we had the first paper on Digital Signal Processing . The paper was a "phadu" one . All of us had a tough time in even attempting the paper.Some of us even fear that the End sem marks may be less than Mid sem score . We were all Mentally drenched ,exhausted and tired after the paper . Anxieties prevailed .Only we would know how those horrific 3 hours passed . We rushed to NP Sir after the exam just to pray to him whatever score we may get , please just PASS us in the end sems and we came out of his chamber after getting our soles consoled by him .
Well ITs the sixth sem going on and as ameta quoted "It is probably the last sem in which we are really gona study and the last sem in which we are gonna care for grades . " as nobody will care about the grades after the placement season (finger crossed about that) .

It's 3 am right now and I don't feel like sleeping and I don't feel like studying even . The next paper is scheduled on the 7th of may . So still a long time to go and I am virtually on a break at this point of time . Here I am signing out hoping that I will figure out something that would keep me occupied in the coming moments till I sleep .
