An unplanned post by me openly critising someone . I was tempted to write for the person who has accomplished a great deal of success in the last 18 months and is considered to have a MIDAS touch . He surely has that . I love his captaincy ( to a certain extent ) but this is the only thing I like about him . Everything takes a U turn from there .India in NZ . 2nd T20 game for India and 1-0 down in this series of 2 games losing the first one due to "Irresponsible batting by the Big guns of Indian cricket " as Quoted by Maahi in the post match presenttion . Now MSD walks in the 2nd T20 trying to prove his words right . And surely he took a major responsibility which accomplished 2 things .
1. ) Eating all the balls up .
2. ) Staying there all the time so that he blocks one end up .
3.) and Most importantly Not making runs .
These might not reveal the true picture and the brilliance of the innings played by dhoni .
- Missed 5 consecutive balls trying to play the same cut shot on all of them .
- Took 19 balls to get his first boundary . Now that would surely be a record for T20 .
Whenever he scored a single on a ball everyone went quiet . This was usually followed by a number of dots . The dot balls were being clapped on by all the viewers in the common room .
He came in the 7th over . Stayed till 20 . Scored 28 .Played 30 .Struck 2 fours . And had 10 clean beats.
Yuvraj came . Played well . Got out in the process of accelerating the RR . Then came YP . Got out. I was heartbroken . You are sure of some eye treat if he stays . Jadeja followed .Even he got himself busy in the process of getting some quick runs hittings a 6 and a 4 . Dhoni could only watch that .a Mere helpless spectator . He couldn't even manage the 2's forget the fours and sixes . One fan smartly gave an apt message to dhoni while he was batting by displaying a banner "Dhoni , ITs 20 -20 ".
Sadly , India lost the last ball thriller .Thanks to fab Dhoni .

If you are still not convinced then I'l like to give you some more stats on him .
- The only match we had lost in the 20-20 world cup was becoz of this Dhobi only.He played a similar innings like he played today and it cost the match . It was against NZ again I guess .
- He has hit just 4 6s till date in his illustrous T20 career along with 16 fours .
- Dhoni's last sixer in T20 came against AUS back in October 2007 .
- He also made 9 off 27 against Aus in melbourne .
I think its been too much of a discussion over the overrated and overhyped DhoBI . He doesn't deserve this . Lets shut it right here right now . More important things should be discussed over this all important blog . Its not a piece of crap :D !
