IPL

IPL has begun and it's purely and surely Masala Cricket .
Starting with a gala ceremony the event began with high expectations given the amount of money that has put into it. And in no time in the first match itself Brendon Mccullum came out with all guns blazing and there was no-one stopping him .Racing to a score of 158 in just 58 balls hitting 13 towering sixes and making a new world record .
My favorite team in the tourney is Mumbai because the captain of the team is the god of cricket himself Sachin Tendulker but he is injured and in his absence they have failed to win a single game yet in three outings .
Also with the beginning of the IPL a war has started between the batchies about the Teams they are supporting .Most of them are supporting their state teams but the ones from bihar , UP etc have no choice but to keep changing parties and supporting the winning team .


From the beggining The Rajasthan Royals were being counted as underDogs and after first match defeat in which they went down without much of a fight they . The rajasthani guys in the hostel are called LEDI so A lot of my friends commented on the team as also ledi (low quality ) . I remember Vipin saying "Rajasthanio ne led ki team banayi hai " . But we shot back at him saying your star studded Hyderabad team has also not won as of yet . Things got heated from there on .
And it was a matter of pride for all of us . AND Phattu (name changed due to certain unknown reasons ) was the most exicted of the lot as always . And so we were eagerly waiting for the big match between Royals and Chargers .A large crowd gathered in the common room for the match and once again the Deccan chargers lost their power batteries and went down in the final over handing the win to the Royals .This was by far the best match in IPL so far with the result coming in the second last ball of the match . Thanks to Symonds the most expensive fish in the IPL pond. Symonds (Deccan Charger )journey in IPL has been real special one scoring a century and getting hit for 30 runs in an over against Sehwag and it that wasn't it . He got smacked by Shane warne for 17 runs in the humdinger and that resulted in another loss for their team .
His bowling figures stand a tall order in 3 matches played by him so far 6.5-0-109-0 . Poor Symonds .
As the royals won celebrations began with rajasthani guys Me, oberoi ,DG ,logic, Luv , Pammie sending bumps to VIPIN . As expected vipin ran into the room and closed the door before we could catch him up . He was the won who was boasting the most about his team and making fun of royals . Then there were guys like Tikam and Vishal who kept swinging between the two teams as to which one was winning . Taking a round of hostel telling everyone that we aren't ledi's :D Although the team doesn't have big names but it still has the courage to beat the BEST in the business .
It was the most satisfying day , we loved sending bumps kicking them , shouting at our full voice .
I am sure the best is yet to come for the team and now they stand tall at the 2nd position (after their third victory ) in the table behind chennai .
